I lost my heirloom mens braided wedding band around Western Springs, IL on January 12, 2018. I thought I would post some photos in hopes that someone finds my lost wedding ring and can then reunite it with me. It is a most valuable possession to me as my wife gave it to me on our wedding day in 2015. The ring belonged to her father who passed away when she was young. I pray that one day I can find it. Thanks for any help!

This beautiful outdoor wedding for Patricia and Blake was set in a quaint neighborhood park near downtown Columbia, Mo. It was a hot July afternoon, but the soft shade of the trees made for a beautiful ceremony with family and friends. The happy couple enjoyed walking around downtown before heading to the Blue Note on 9th Street to continue the celebration! The guests enjoyed live music from the Blue Note stage, delicious crepes and dancing into the evening! We're so happy that Blake and Patty chose us to help capture their special day! Congratulations!

This was without a doubt the best way to kick off the 2017 wedding season.
Amanda and Eddie were simply radiating an unbelievable glow of love and celebration!

We haven't done many engagement shoots before the sun pops over the horizon, but we're sure glad we did this one!
It was a brisk morning and the dew was still on the grass.
There was fog in the valley and the leaves had started to paint the landscape.
There was so much peace and love out there in the wilderness.
It was a perfect morning to shoot Alisa and Mace's photos and we hope each and every day of their lives together will be the same.

April and Don's wedding at the Little Piney Lodge near Big Spring, Mo. was absolutely beautiful!!
The serene setting near a lake and surrounded by the shade of tall trees was perfect.
There were flowers all around and love in the air!
However, we did feel a little sorry for the guys in their full suits as temperatures reached what felt like 100 degrees!

This year has been full of so much love!

It's not every day I get to ride in a tractor.
But on what would have been my Grandma Schaefer's 95th Birthday, my little cousin took me for a spin.
We went out to a bean field near Vandalia, Mo. and fired up a giant Case Tractor.
It was the perfect setting for his senior photos.
We also found out I look pretty good in a tractor ;)
Once we left the field, we finished the evening off with a beautiful sunset at his house.
We think Grandma Schaefer wanted to make sure he had some great shots.
She was always good with the weather.

Winston the dog starred on the Kayser's birth announcements...
And now he's playing the guard dog as he keeps a close eye on the adorable Stella!

The weather for Jamie and Brandon's outdoor wedding at Cherry Hill was absolutely perfect!!
The sun shined brightly, there was a nice breeze and the sky was full of white fluffy clouds.
To top it all off, the bride even did her bridesmaids' hair! Wow!

We had an awesome time with Amie, Steve and the kids during our early morning shoot in St. Louis!
We hadn't met the kiddos before the shoot, so it took a little while for them to warm up.
But by the end of the shoot we were best friends ;)
Fort Bellefontaine was an awesome setting to shoot.
In 1805, the U.S. military established Fort Bellefontaine at the mouth of Cold Water Creek near the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers.
It was an effort to protect the City of St. Louis and the thriving river trade along the Mississippi River.
Amie used to go there as a child and this was her family's first time exploring it together.

I've always enjoyed shooting a camera and also working with repeat clients.
This shoot was especially fun, because Charlotte and Brett have grown up so much since the last shoot.
Brett was a great big brother and helped his little sister feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Golf is a tough sport to master.
That's why it's a good idea to start early and practice often...and that's exactly this little guy's plan.
We hit the links on a beautiful August evening to capture Logan's budding skills.
He brought his highly trained caddies...Mom and Dad.
He just turned one year old so watch out.

Our cousin came into town from Illinois to tour Mizzou on Friday.
While she was here we thought we'd shoot some senior pics and convince her Mizzou should be her top choice ;)
Serena was a great model and we turned out some gorgeous shots together!
Hopefully, she'll decide to bring her knowledge and beauty back to MU after her senior year.

We had a lovely morning hanging out with Lucy, Alice and their parents, Joel and Sadie, at Shelter Gardens.
The flowers and plants were in full bloom and it was the perfect setting for two sisters to explore.
It always takes a few minutes for kids to warm up to the camera, but once they do, the smiles start to shine.
Lucy enjoyed running around and Alice enjoyed her blankets on the grass : )

Maybe it's just us, but it seems hot outside. Really hot.
We decided we would start out early with Katie, Mike and the adorable Zander.
Mornings are always a nice time to shoot because of the lighting & on this hot summer's day we thought we would try and beat the heat.
We started at 7:45 am and were doing alright for about 30 minutes. Then it caught us and it got hot.
Thankfully, baby Zander wanted to show off his cool basketball style.
He chose team skins instead of shirts.

The Ugly Duckling is a story I remember my parents reading to me as child.
Over the past few days, I've been able to keep a close eye on a little guy who was the subject of that story.
Along with his parents who are quite the opposite of ugly...that is unless you get too close.

We had the honor of capturing this amazing day in June for our sweet friends Tyler and Dorothy at Blue Bell Farms.
Between seeing their families come together with those who traveled great distances and getting to take a glimpse at the small moments that show the love these two have for each other...we couldn't have been more thrilled to be a part of this special day.

Shakespeare's Pizza has been an iconic pizza joint located across the street from the Missouri School of Journalism at Ninth and Elm since 1973.
Tomorrow it will be gone. At least for a little while.
I've enjoyed several pizza's at that location over the years and look forward to it's return.
In the meantime, here are a few shots to help remember the original building. The new building is scheduled to open by August 2016.
"The outside of the building is still kinda up in the air. They're still working on a couple different designs, is my understanding. But our portion of the outside of the building is gonna replicate what our building has been all these years, all along," said Shakespeare's manager Kurt Mirtsching. "I heard that the designer had a Shakespeare's cup sitting on his desk, and he was looking at that picture of the building as he was designing the building that's going in Ninth and Elm."

Morning shoots are usually pretty early, but when you have a great family to hang out with it makes all the difference.
We've had a lot of rain lately along with some hot temps,
but we managed to find a sweet spot on the schedule and captured these great moments in the garden.

The ranch is the home to the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales.
We love the clydesdales and we especially love our friends. We can't wait to welcome your newborn next month!
